Ken Williams is a corporate CISO and Privacy Officer with more than 30 years of experience leading cybersecurity, privacy, and risk programs across healthcare, financial services, and technology sectors.
His career spans some of the most respected organizations in the industry — Bell Laboratories, KPMG, Meta Security Group, Computer Associates, and Ovation Healthcare — giving him a practitioner's perspective that is grounded in real-world complexity, not theory.
The vCSO Series™ was born from a simple observation: the gap between executive security leadership and the organizations that need it most is too wide. These publications are Ken's effort to close that gap — translating decades of front-line experience into frameworks, playbooks, and guidance that healthcare security professionals can apply immediately.
